Welcome! I am a fine artist, botanical illustrator, surface designer, educator, and gardener. I am so glad you are here, and I look forward to sharing my passion for plants with you. I have been teaching in-person botanical painting for many years, but when all of my classes were cancelled in 2020, I created an online version of my introduction to botanical painting course. And now that it is here, and I am able to reach people who don't live in my home town, I am excited to expand on my offerings! You can see examples of my work at CarasGarden.com.

    Cara's Garden is an art studio (with a really big, inspiring garden out back:) where I work as a full time botanical artist and educator. I offer online and in person classes.

  • How long do I have to complete the botanical painting course?

    You have a full year to complete the course! So take your time, work at your own pace.

  • What if I need help or have questions?

    You are welcome to ask questions within the course, or to email directly if you need help with something.
